Job Opportunity for Orthodontic Clinical Chairside Assistant

We are looking to hire an Orthodontic Clinical Chairside Assistant (Certified) for our Orthodontic Dental office. The ideal orthodontic assistant will have at least 2 years of experience in an orthodontic office. This is a full-time position including Monday through Thursday but schedule can be flexible depending on our patients needs. The orthodontic assistant serves as an advocate and educator while creating beautiful smiles! This new team member needs to exhibit an efficient, knowledgeable and positive countenance to every patient experience. Be comfortable with using a computer, taking photos, x-rays, 3D scans, and iTero scans. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.

Job Description and Duties (but not limited to)

The best candidate will have an energetic, service-focused attitude, and be able to prioritize appropriately to assure patient satisfaction.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with dental software programs
  • Experience with taking photos, x-ray’s, 3D scans, iTero scans, arch wire changes, banding and debanding procedures to name a few

Responsibilities include:

  • Working as a team player at all times
  • Sharing in all office work and duties as a team member
  • Performing general duties and other office / clinical duties as required
  • Adhere to the Office Employee Manual at all times
  • See patients on time and finish procedures on time
  • Have a positive attitude while in the office at all times
  • Engage with our patients at all appointments
  • Be comfortable with asking patients and parents for reviews and referrals
  • Market the practice to help with the growth of new patients
