Refresh NTX Community Service Day

Serving up SMILES in the Frisco Community!

On Thursday, May 15, the RxSmile team rolled up their sleeves at the Refresh NTX warehouse, packing and labeling hygiene kits for local school children!

Providing essential hygiene products to children in need

Refresh NTX, founded in 2019 by Elizabeth Watkins and Kristin Cagle, provides students in Frisco, Little Elm & some of Denton ISD’s Free and Reduced Price Meal program, with essential full-size hygiene products. Every three months, these “Refresh Packs” are available for pick-up or delivered to schools, where the campus counselor or parent liaison discreetly gives the packs to students.

Each “Refresh Pack” is tailored to the child’s age, gender and specific hair care needs.

  • Basic items include: toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, shampoo, conditioner, body wash/bar soap, lip balm, comb/brush, and lotion
  • Additional items for middle and high schoolers include: shaving cream, deodorant, and menstruation products
  • PreK packs include: Bubble bath, detangling spray, bar soap, shampoo or 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste and a brush
  • Plus a handwritten note of encouragement to give kids a boost!
