Dr. Greg Greenberg is excited to announce that Dr. Jan Ortiz is now an official partner and owner of RxSmile! After working as an associate orthodontist in the practice, Dr. Greenberg and the RxSmile team quickly recognized that Dr. Ortiz was the perfect fit—not only as an orthodontist but as a leader and a part of our RxSmile family.
Dr. Ortiz has already made a meaningful impact on patients and the team with his expertise, warm personality, and dedication to exceptional care. His approach to treatment and passion for creating beautiful smiles align perfectly with the values of RxSmile.

About Dr. Jan Ortiz, DMD
- He was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he also graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2005.
- He received his Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine focusing on special needs and medically compromised patients.
- Later received his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics combined with a Doctorate in Sciences in dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
- He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Boston University Alumni Association and the Southwest Association of Orthodontist.
- He is also a Board-certified orthodontist under the American Board of Orthodontists.
- His wife is a periodontist. They met while attending Boston University.
- He has two kids – Zoe who is 12 years old, and Noah who is 9 years old.
- On the weekends he enjoys spending time with family, especially supporting his kids at their volleyball and baseball tournaments.
- He enjoys traveling. His favorite places he has visited so far are Dubai and Japan.
- He is a wine connoisseur and enjoys wine tastings!
- New York style pepperoni pizza is his favorite food.
