This new technology uses six cameras and five projectors and creates a field of view that is three times wider than previous models. When you come in for a scan with the iTero Lumina, one of our technicians will use the scanner’s small, comfortable wand to capture a 3D digital model of your teeth and mouth. Thanks to the new multi-direct capture technology, scans are faster and more precise, often taking less time than previous models. Because the scan appears in real-time, the technician can immediately see if any areas need to be rescanned, ensuring complete accuracy without adding extra time to your visit. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, the protective shield on the scanner is replaced after every use.

Once your scan is complete, Dr. Greenberg or Dr. Ortiz will review the 3D images with you, showing what your teeth look like now and what they may look like after treatment.
