Community Service Day at Hugs Café

To honor the lives and service of those we lost on September 11, 2001, the RxSmile Orthodontics team spent this Sept. 11 doing some team bonding and community service work at Hugs Café in McKinney, making and baking holiday pies. This time of year, the café bakes apple, pumpkin, pecan and chocolate bourbon pecan pies to sell during the upcoming holiday season. The pies are purchased by businesses, individuals and even as donations to honor local school district employees. All of the sales benefit their mission to train and employ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
