The Spirit of Giving
Our hearts aren’t wrapped up in any one season, the spirit of giving to us, has a bigger reason! At RxSmile Orthodontics, our goal is to make a difference in the lives of North Texas area youth and their families year-round.
Dr. Greenberg picked Frisco as the ideal place for his business because he wanted to be part of this growing city and connected to its youth and the surrounding community. To show his support, every year he is a corporate sponsor with numerous public (FISD) and private schools from Elementary, Middle, and High School. He’s also been a corporate sponsor of Frisco Arts, a non–profit organization supporting the Arts in Frisco.
For the 2019-2020 football season, Dr. Greenberg became a sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. This sponsorship allowed RxSmile to be engaged in Cowboys specific programming, which included the Dallas Cowboys Youth Academies presented by Academy for Youth. “I’m a huge football fan and with our office located across the street from The Star in Frisco, I felt this was a natural fit”, said Dr. Greg Greenberg. “This partnership allowed us the opportunity to reach and support Frisco area kids participating in 24 different youth football and cheerleading camps over the summer.”
This summer we also offered internships to two students that are studying dentistry, particularly Orthodontics. Several days a week they had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Greenberg and the RxSmile team to gain first-hand knowledge of running a practice and the benefits of quality patient care!
RxSmile is a proud sponsor and supporter of A Motivating Love (AML), a McKinney based non-profit organization helping and supporting women, especially moms, in all stages of their life journey. Several times this year we joined forces, working together to benefit other Collin County non-profit organizations. Our Halloween “No Tricks, Just Treats” candy collection campaign resulted in pounds and pounds of candy delivered to support Hope’s Door and Streetside Showers. Our “Food for the Holidays” collection campaign helped restock Minnie’s Food Pantry with non-perishable food items just in time for the upcoming holiday meals.
In November, RxSmile was honored to participate with a new organization, Refresh Frisco, by donating Chapstick and toothbrushes as part of their first distribution of “refresh packs” going out to over 200 kids in 34 different schools in Frisco. Their mission is to ensure every child in Frisco has access to personal hygiene items.
To cap off the year, our “Fill Santa’s Sleigh” toy drive was a success! An overflowing box of toys, games, cars, stuffed animals, puzzles, and lots of love was delivered to the kids at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital to enjoy this holiday season!
Dr. Greenberg and the RxSmile Orthodontics team believe in leading by example and continue to reinforce Frisco’s need for more family-oriented businesses that give back to its own community!
